Toronto Animated Image Society (TAIS) is an artist-run centre dedicated to exploring the art of animation. Profiling its experimental animation Residency Program, sponsored by The Petman Foundation, this session includes presentations by Brett Long on his work using VR, and Michael Enzbrunner on his project currently in progress using 3D animation technology.
Brett Long is an independent stop motion filmmaker known for his high concept and innovative approach on music videos and live projections under the alias "Exploding Motor Car" - a Toronto artists collective. Michael Enzbrunner is an illustrator, painter and animator originally from Germany, currently living in Toronto. With years of experience in commercial and freelance production, in his own work he applies an artistic approach to 3D animation. TAIS’ Jenn Snider and Evan DeRushie will also be on hand for questions.
